I’m Maxine Cali, a creative visionary working as a visual artist, fashion designer, costume maker, and milliner across film, fashion, and performance. My practice moves between fashion design, remaking and upcycling, hat making, costume and prop creation, and styling, alongside personal work and collaborative projects.

I specialise in couture hand-stitching, garment construction, millinery, and detailed finishing, bringing craftsmanship and adaptability to both atelier and on-set environments.

I have worked in luxury atelier settings in London alongside Victoria Grant, contributing to bespoke Royal Ascot headpieces and creations for VIP clients, including music royalty. Also collaborated with Valentim Quaresma in Lisbon, Portugal on collections presented at Lisbon Fashion Week.

Recently, I worked as Costume Maker and Props Master on the short sci-fi film IAM Your Father (dir. Ali Quraishi) in Stockholm.

Trained in Fashion Design Development at UAL (London), with further studies in Lisbon and Porto, I approach my work through a balance of craftsmanship, storytelling, and experimentation.
